Cellcard celebrates 5th win in Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards– an annual event hosted by the Employer Branding Institute, World HRD Congress and Stars of the Industry Group, and endorsed by the Asian Confederation of Businesses.
Cellcard’s win in the 2016 awards event last Aug 4 in the category Asia’s Best Employer Brand marks its 5th consecutive year of holding its position in the Asia Pacific region as one of the companies recognized and acknowledged for upholding excellence in the realm of people development. It attests to the company’s consistent commitment in creating and retaining a work environment and culture that is conducive to skill development as well as career growth.
“Employees of Cellcard have high levels of satisfaction”, says Cellcard’s Chief People Office, Nicky Enriquez. “and we continue to find ways to improve how we contribute to our employees career and welfare through training opportunities that allow them to hone their skills, and an environment that allows them to learn and practice leadership, accountability, and team work. On top this, we support and ensure a healthy work-life balance with regular activities that promote fun@work. This is important in organizations as big as Cellcard where there are tendencies for individuals and departments to work in silos, and we ensure that we have multiple avenues for our employees to mingle, exchange ideas, collaborate, get to know each other and have fun,” she adds.
The 2016 Asia’s Best Employer Awards was held at the Pan Pacific, Marina Square, Singapore and was attended by over a hundred senior business leaders across various APAC countries. Cellcard’s Head of Employee Services, Socheat Chor, Head of Talent Acquisition, Vibol Chan, and Special Projects Manager, Marina Pykhteeva attended the event and accepted the prestigious award on behalf of Cellcard.
“Bringing home a 5th trophy, representing our 5th consecutive year of being recognized as one of the most sought after employers in the region is a great honor. And we are proud that we are able to consistently meet international standards in the work place and people development. This win only inspires us more to do more, to do better, and we will. We thank our shareholders Neak Oknha Kith Meng, H.E. Oknha Kith Thieng and our CEO, Mr. Ian Watson for their relentless support in our People Development Initiatives.” – Nicky Enriquez, Cellcard’s Chief People Officer
