
Phnom Penh, Cambodia – February 17, 2025 – The future of education in Cambodia was the focus of intense discussion and collaboration at the first-ever Cambodia EdTech Summit, “Pathways to Cambodia’s Digital Education,” held at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia on February 17-18, 2025. The landmark event brought together over 2,000 participants, including policymakers, educators, IT experts, EdTech innovators, industry leaders, and students, all committed to advancing technology integration within the Cambodian education system.

The summit, officially opened by H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS), provided a crucial platform to explore challenges and opportunities in creating a more equitable, sustainable, and safe digital learning environment. Discussions centered around navigating the evolving EdTech ecosystem, fostering innovation, and promoting skills development for the digital age.
