Cellcard and VRecommend partners to introduce a new and improved social media platform

28^th July – Cellcard signs a partnership agreement with VRecommend – trusted social peer-to-peer recommendation. It allows users to recommend among their friends and their peers about your lifestyle interests such as shops, restaurants, food, destination and so on.

The VRecommend app is a Cambodian innovation, locally developed by young and passionate Cambodians. It was awarded as one of the most promising initiatives in Startup Weekend Cambodia 2013 and gained international recognition as a semi-finalist in the World Startup Competition 2014 held in Korea.

“VRecommend was inspired by our passion to share and recommend things to our friends. There is currently no app that focuses on peer-to-peer recommendation especially in Cambodia, and we think that it’s a unique space for us to fill in. The partnership with Cellcard will allow this team of young entrepreneurs and innovators to create even more public awareness for the VRecommend App, which will include Cellcard’s support in pushing the app in Cellcard social media channels with a line up of co-branded activities and promotions.

A new collection of stickers, featuring the Cellcard robot mascot which is now available for free to all VRecommend users was also introduced, and activities and contests around this new collection will be coming soon on Cellcard and VRecommend pages.
