Kampong Cham, July 6, 2019:
Cellcard has today joined with national charity Children Support Foundation (CSF) at their latest initiative in Kampong Cham.
CSF supports thousands of children and their families each year and plays a key role in helping improve education, living standards and health and safety for those at risk.
Cellcard’s support comes as a donation of educational materials for each student of the Kandal Koh Tboung Primary School. Cellcard also ran a toy drive at Circle K branches.
Cellcard Chief Executive Officer Ian Watson said the weekend event was one initiative within the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility CSR programme this year.
“We are interested in strengthening relationships in Kampong Cham where we plan to hold our next Super Data Race,” Mr. Watson said.
“Our teams will be there to meet the students and the school and to see how best to support and engage with the students and families in this province.
“The work done by the CSF is very inspiring and we look forward to being a part of more of their initiatives in the future.”
He said a team of Cellcard employees had given up their Saturday to meet the students along with NetIdol influencer Bunleng who distributed the school materials and showed them how to film and post on Facebook.
The event is attended by Koh Sotin deputy district governor , a number of supporting NGOs and community leaders.
