Cellcard’s Youth Ambassador Navin Kay has joined the company’s internship program where she will receive three months of coaching and mentorship under the expert guidance of Women in Tech 2018 awardee, Fat Si Em.
The 21-year old is completing her Bachelor Degree in Telecom and Networking at the University of National Institute of Posts, Telecommunications and ICT (NIPTICT). She also has a Bachelor Degree in Law.
The Cellcard internship will give her real work experience and enable her to further build her advocacy for the company as a representative of the brand.
Cellcard Chief Executive Officer Ian Watson said Navin’s placement is testament to Cellcard’s commitment to supporting young Cambodian talent.
“Not only does Navin appear in our advertising and Social Media, but she also provides with the other Ambassadors vital insight into the changing needs of our youngest customers,” he said.
He said all the Ambassadors work openly together in the Cellcard offices with the Marketing and Brand teams.
“It’s great to be able to take the collaboration one step further to assist her in her studies and hopefully inspire her to be a telecom engineer in the future.”
