CELLCARD, WING BANK AND MOEYS JOIN FORCES TO DRIVE DIGITAL EDUCATION TRANSFORMATION

Phnom Penh, Cambodia [23rd July 2024]— Cellcard, a leading telecommunications provider in Cambodia, today announced a collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS), and Wing Bank (Cambodia) Plc to jointly organize “The Digital Education Forum” at Wing Bank Tower.

The Forum will serve as a platform for key stakeholders in the public and private education sector, including digital school system providers, financial institutions, telecommunications companies, school principals, teachers, and students, to discuss challenges, share best practices, and explore innovative solutions for implementing digital education strategy.

Cambodia is prioritizing education as a crucial foundation for human capital development in the digital age, according to His Excellency Om Romny, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. “This forum, a joint initiative with Cellcard and Wing Bank, marks a significant step forward,” stated HE Romny. “The initiative will be instrumental in digitalizing traditional management into an information system, creating a more efficient, accessible, and equitable education system. It perfectly aligns with the government’s pentagonal strategy and national visions for 2030 and 2050.”
