Phnom Penh October 10, 2017 – Mr. Lim Soksophay, Chief Information Officer of Cellcard receives the honor of being one of the most outstanding leaders in IT and Information Security in the ASEAN CIO Awards 2017.

The ASEAN CIO Awards, is an annual event organized by the International Data Group (IDG) ASEAN, gathering IT and Information Security leaders, who are making an impact in their organization and in their communities in the fields of Finance, Education, Health, and Telecommunications. The Awards honors outstanding achievements towards sustaining business, minimizing business risks and maximizing business opportunities in the enterprises, governmental and civic organizations.

The evaluation of the candidate is based on criteria rank, marked as 3 levels: Excellent (3 points), Good (2 points), and Average (1 points, and the evaluation criteria for CIO are: Scale of Organization, Candidate’s qualification and experience, Highlight projects and consequences and Social responsibility. The Board of Judges are involved in the final stage.

This year’s ASEAN CIO Awards, held last October 6, 2017 at the Melia Hanoi Hotel, gives recognition to Cellcard’s CIO, Mr. Lim Soksophay. With 14 years of working experience in the IT industry began his career in Cellcard in 2003 as a Management Information System Trainee and has continuously proven himself a valuable asset, allowing him to occupy a C-level seat in the organization as the Chief Information Officer of Cellcard.
