Cellcard wins in Cambodian Woman ICT Engineer Award 2018

Cellcard’s top talent has again been recognised nationally with Transport Planning and Optimisation Manager, Ms. Si Em Fat, receiving the Cambodian Woman ICT Engineer Award 2018.
Her recognition was part of the Women in Tech Awards 2018, hosted by The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications on March 7th , just prior to International Women’s Day.
The awards aim to encourage Cambodian women who play active roles in the field of information, communication and technology and help narrow the gender divide in the technology sector.
The nomination process started from February 15th for candidates to be evaluated and selected by the ministry based on judgement criteria and qualifications.
Ms. Si Em Fat said “I feel so proud to be selected for this award and this is a privilege and a great achievement not only for me but for my team at Cellcard.”
“This award means a lot to me and it encourages women in the country to be involved in the technology sector,” she said.
Chief People Officer for Cellcard and the Royal Group, Nicky Enriquez, said Ms Fat was a great role model for women at Cellcard and across Cambodia in general.
Cellcard is a 7-time award winner of the Best Employer Brand Awards from 2012-2018, recognised in the region for cultivating an organisational environment that promotes collaboration, growth and work-life balance.
Cellcard’s CIO Mr. Lim Sok Sophay was also recognised last year with the CIO ASEAN award.
