Cellcard’s 4G LTE network has yet again been awarded for its speeds – this time by Opensignal which announced Cellcard as the winner in the Upload and Download Speed Experience categories*.
The announcement comes shortly after Cellcard was announced the official Cambodia Speedtest winner by Ookla. It is the second consecutive time that Cellcard has won these categories from Opensignal.
The awards were presented at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and accepted by Royal Group Chairman Neak Okhna Kith Meng together with Cellcard Chief Executive Officer Ian Watson, and Chief technology Officer Jonjon Naval.
Mr Watson said the double win for Cellcard’s network was more than proof of the quality of the mobile data network that commenced roll-out in January 2017.
“These are independent awards given by the global experts in measuring the true state of mobile networks based on measurements of real user experience – there is no disputing the facts.
“Cellcard is the fastest mobile data network in Cambodia and we have worked hard and invested heavily to provide this world-class service to our customers.
“Cambodia needs to know that Cellcard 4G is the best choice and if they have not tried Cellcard in their area for more than a year, they should try us again now to see just how much we have improved.”
Mr Watson said, “We will continue our drive for the digitization of Cambodia and leverage our strengths across Royal Group to deliver on this very important mission.
